节温器主要就是使发动机水温恒定在八九十度左右,使发动机在热机状态下发挥出最经济的动力。发动机长时间在低温状态下工作使用,对发动机燃烧不好,且动力下降。柴油机刚启动时排烟不好,当水温上来后,明显的排烟和动力全都好了。一般发动机水温正常时,我们最好不要将节温器拆掉。如果发动机冷却系统全部都正常,但水温还是高,这样可以将节温器拆掉,将内循环堵上,这样冷却液散热效果会更好。一般夏天容易出现水温高,可以将节温器拆掉,到冬天再装回就可以了。水温一般在七八十度就行,最好不要超过九十几度。 不安装节温器的情况不会出现冷却水不循环(不是电器),也不会造成个别气缸不能冷却。节温器是发动机全部散热之后才出来到散热器冷却再到水泵进水口或者直接到水泵进水口。当水温低于节温器打开温度时,冷却水走内循环,直接到水泵进水口,当水温超过节温器打开温度时(七八十度左右),节温器关闭内循环,打开外循环,经过散热器散热后再到水泵进水口。
